What causes suffering?

We are endowed with two extraordinary faculties: a vivid memory that enriches our lives and an imagination that allows us to dream, create, and project ourselves.

When these two magnificent faculties are misused by our mind, they distract us from the present moment, which is the only point outside of time where we truly have the power to act and change things.

What happens in the brain?

Our brain records the multiple information that come to us from our environment and memorizes all our experiences lived and captured by our five senses.

These information and perceptions are stored in our subconscious mind and influence every choice we make and every decision we take. And we find ourselves conditioned and confined in belief systems created since our childhood, of which we are not even aware that they are there, well hidden in our subconscious mind.

It is difficult to realize the existence of our beliefs, and even more their influences on our behavior, our personality, and our reality, because they are perceived as evidence, truths, our truths recorded and kept in the safe of our subconscious mind.

Who is in control?

When a being suffers, it’s because there’s a disagreement between what’s happening and what he would like to happen, because he is feeling something he does not want to feel, but the negative emotion is there.

The question is : Who is in control now?

  • Is it the being who lived traumatic experiences in the past and is afraid of reliving the same story?
  • Is it the being projecting into the future, imagining the worst possible scenarios?

But it’s certainly not the being suffering here and now in the present who controls the mind, because he does not want to feel this negative emotion, but he realize he has no control over what he feels.

Unconscious mechanisms control our emotions, behaviors, choices, and decisions.

The interview

We take the time to get to know each other, understand your issues, and define the objective of the session.

The hypnotherapy session

You keep your comfortable clothes on, but your shoes are removed during the session.

You sit in a relaxed position and close your eyes.

I start with breathing and relaxation exercises to calm the body and mind.

Then, the breathing becomes calmer and deeper, muscles completely relax, and you enter a natural state of relaxation called hypnosis trance, where you remain fully in control of your faculties, never losing control.

You are here and at the same time in a broader reality known as an altered state of consciousness.

And at your own pace, I guide you with appropriate techniques towards the doors to open to find solutions and resources needed to achieve your goal.

You are completely in control of everything that happens, and only you hold the answers.

I am here only to guide you in your journey, ensuring that your mind move towards the objective of the day’s session, and your entire system colaborates and activates for your well-being throughout the session.

Once the work is done, I gently bring you back to your usual state of consciousness.

The debriefing

After the session, we take the time to discuss about your experience and feelings.

It’s a moment for you to express yourself, ask me any questions you may have, and clarify any points if needed.

You may feel immediate effects, but most often, the work is done after the session in the following days.

That’s why it’s preferable to space out the sessions by 21 days to allow the effects of the session to take place.

Exercises to integrate into your daily life the new resources acquired will also be recommended to optimize the results of the session.

Your motivation and involvement, during and after the sessions, are essential for the smooth running success of the process.
